Job properties can be viewed and managed in the Details panel on the Manage or Work page. You must be assigned to one of the job's current steps or be the job owner, and the job must not be closed. You must also have sufficient privileges to manage job properties.
Note:
Assign to Self appears in the Details panel and allows you to assign the job to yourself if you have sufficient privileges and you're listed in the job's assignable users list.
Edit job properties
Complete these steps to edit job properties:
- Access the Workflow Manager web app.
- Choose the job that contains the properties you want to edit on the Manage or Work page.
- Expand the Details panel if necessary.
- On the Properties tab, expand job properties sections as necessary.
Note:
If you don’t have sufficient privileges, the Properties tab in the Details panel is not available.
- If the job properties you want to edit contain more than one record, click Previous and Next to choose the record you want to edit.
Note:
If the job properties you want to edit don't appear, click Refresh Panel .
- Click Edit Job Details or Edit Job Record .
- Update job properties as necessary.
Note:
Job properties that aren't configured to be editable cannot be updated.
The Status field cannot be left blank.
- Click Save Edits to save the changes.
Add a table record
One-to-many properties allow you to associate multiple table records with a job. Job records can only be added to one-to-many properties tables. Complete these steps to add a table record:
- Access the Workflow Manager web app.
- Choose the job that contains the properties you want to manage on the Manage or Work page.
- Expand the Details panel, if necessary.
- On the Properties tab, expand job properties sections as necessary.
Note:
If you don’t have sufficient privileges, the Properties tab in the Details panel is not available.
- In the Details panel, click Add New Record .
The properties for the one-to-many extended properties table appear in the Details panel.
- Update job properties as necessary.
Note:
Job properties that aren't configured to be editable can't be updated.
- Click Save Edits to save the record.
Delete a table record
One-to-many properties allow you to associate multiple table records with a job. Job records can only be deleted from one-to-many properties tables. Complete these steps to delete a table record:
- Access the Workflow Manager web app.
- Choose the job that contains the properties you want to manage on the Manage or Work page.
- Expand the Details panel if necessary.
- On the Properties tab, expand job properties sections as necessary.
Note:
If you don’t have sufficient privileges, the Properties tab in the Details panel is not available.
- Click Previous and Next to choose the record you want to delete.
- Click Delete Job Record .
A confirmation message appears.
Caution:
Deleted records cannot be recovered.
- Click Yes to delete the record or click No to cancel.
